LME Conference Service:

Make sure you get your dose of Europe whilst at Labour Party Conference. Find below our list of all fringe events with an explicit link to Europe and those events which are addressed by Labour MEPs.

We particularly like to invite you to the LME Sunday lunch time fringe event followed by the Launch of LME North West and draw your attention to the Labour Friends of Turkey event on Sunday early evening organised in association with the LME.

There are many fringe events at Labour Conference about policy areas which also have a European dimension to them, but don’t recognise it in the way they ask their central questions. We call on all LME members and supporters to help mainstream Europe across as many fringe events as possible by asking questions and pointing out that their European dimension has to be part of considering and developing policy. Please highlight the European dimension of issues such as Environment, Development, Growth, Consumer Rights, Health, Financial Services, World Trade, Foreign Affairs, Justice and Home Affairs and many more if you attend such fringe meetings.

Also come and support LME member Jon Worth making the case for mainstreaming Europe across Labour’s policy development at the “Top of the Policies” event organised by Pragmatic Radicalism in the early evening of Monday September 26.

Make sure you don’t miss, the EPLP Report by Glennis Willmott MEP during the Morning Plenary Session on Monday September 26 starting from 09:30.
